"Recently I had the privilege of listening to one of Dr. Charles Clevenger's wonderful piano concerts. What a marvelous worship experience it was! How refreshing to be brought into the presence of the Lord by observing one so gifted to bring glory to Him.
Dr. Clevenger plays with elegance and finesse. In between numbers he lectures, with humor and clarity, drawing applications from scripture, fron history, and from his personal life. He builds his concert to a crescendo of praise. Near the end, he gives an absolutely powerful personal testimony of how the Lord has sustained him in the midst of great adversity, an adversity which relates directly to his own persona and career. I was deeply touched and moved.
I recommend, without reservation, this fine Christian concert artist to your church. His ministry will challenge you in a unique way.

"It is my privilege to introduce you to the unique concert ministry of Charles Clevenger. Dr. Clevenger is a wonderfully gifted, conservatory-trained musician who is unashamedly committed to the Lord Jesus Christ.
As President of Integra Music Group, it falls my lot to hear literally scores of well qualified, trained and gifted musicians each year. Take it from me, Charles Clevenger is one of the best. He is equally skilled at crafting the performance of a Bach or Chopin prelude, or a lovely arrangement from the bountiful wealth of folk-song and hymn literature.
Note the wonderful array of programs available for church, community gathering, and/or college art-series concerts. You will be thrilled at the sensitivity, musicianship, and ministry provided in any one of his concerts.
Finally, Charles was stricken with severe arthritis in mid-career. He has gloriously overcome that obstacle by laying it on the altar, along with his other gifts, for the glory of God. His playing has been unaffected, but there is so much more power now in his message than just the blessing that beautiful music provides. His testimony will inspire your people, I'm sure.
Enthusiastically His,
Vernon M. Whaley"

"Thank you again for sharing your ministry with us last weekend. Sunday night was a true time of worship, and the activities throughout the day on Monday were beneficial in countless ways. Our musicians learned what it means to strive for excellence with their gifts and to use them in honoring the Lord. Each member of the student body, whether musical or not, was challenged in a new and clear way to devote the service of their lives to God.
Your excellent musicianship at the piano and away from it provides an outstanding vehicle for introducing the truth of Scripture. The only complaint heard was that the opportunity to hear you play was not long enough. We look forward to the next time you are with us in order to remedy that error!

"It is my distinct privilege to recommend Dr. Charles Clevenger to you. Recently he ministered to our high school student body of over 700. His presentation was captivating. His use of unusual musical ability to illustrate lessons from the Word of God was unique. I found the presentation to be Biblically accurate, spiritually challenging and artistically flawless. The response of our students was so positive. They desired more. The message comes through clearly. You will find your audience enriched and challenged.

"Thanks so much for the concert last night. The music was beautiful, but I was most impressed by your testimony. Like you, I also enjoy the beauty that God surrounds us with. When you played "Clair de Lune," I closed my eyes and prayed as you suggested. What a beautiful experience. As you played, the Lord brought to my mind a variety of memorable moonlight adventures that I have experienced:
A Great Horned Owl flying through the moonlit woods along the Little Miami River; flying squirrels in a forest of Tennessee; coyotes howling and yipping in the Colorado rockies; and my own salvation in my backyard in Beavercreek.
I was so overwhelmed with the joy of this beautiful experience that I had to wipe away tears of joy. Could you send me your schedule of performances. I would like to bring other members of my family to hear your testimony and music.
God bless you richly,
Larry McKinley"
